All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Part Time (24 hours) **Shift** :Days (must be able to work every Saturday and Sunday) **The community you'll be caring for** : 1061 Medical Center Dr. Orange City, FL 32763 **The role you'll contribute:** The Staff Pharmacist utilizes organizational skills, pharmaceutical expertise and people skills in working with patients, physicians, and other office personnel to ensure delivery of optimal patient care consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the Retail Pharmacy. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Coordinates prescription processing and medication dispensing. + Greets patients and fills in clinical information or supervises staff in doing so. + Accurately interpret prescriptions, check for appropriate medication dose, strength, route, frequency, and prescribing directions. + Screens for drug allergies, interactions, contraindications, therapy duplication, non-compliance, and other drug-related issues. + Contacts physicians for any prescription questions or irregularities. **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree. + A current license in the state of Florida / Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience in community pharmacy and previous clinical experience.
