Job Overview:
We are offering employment opportunities to Pediatricians who are interested in providing high-quality clinical care to our patients in the diverse communities that we serve. As a rapidly growing network, we provide a supportive environment for our physicians to practice medicine under the guidance of dedicated medical leadership.
Essential Functions:
Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions
Prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
Monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results
Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary
Providing compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concerns
Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary
Participating in network activities such as Provider meetings, Grand Rounds, and training sessions
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics required.
Current and unrestricted New York State license.
DEA required.
