We are looking for a daycare cook who can plan and prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our children, following the USDA guidelines and food safety standards.Are you looking for a rewarding and fulfilling career in childcare? Duties

Creating weekly menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the children, including those with allergies or special diets
Shopping for groceries and maintaining inventory of food and supplies
Preparing breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack for children daily
Serving food in a timely and attractive manner, ensuring proper portion sizes and temperature control
Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dishes, utensils, and equipment
Complying with all health and safety regulations and policies
Communicating effectively with the director, teachers, parents, and children

Requirements

A passion for cooking and working with children
A high school diploma or equivalent
A valid food handler’s certificate
At least one year of experience in cooking or food service, preferably in a childcare setting
A friendly, positive, and professional attitude
A reliable and flexible work ethic
A clean criminal background check

Happyland Day Care Center is a safe and nurturing learning environment. We have been serving children ages 2 1/2- 10 years old for over 30 years. Happyland Day Care offers preschool and before and after school services.
Operational Days and Hours are:Monday - Friday 6:00 am until 6:00 pm
