As a Paint & Color Solutions Retail Specialist at The Pittsburgh Paints Company, you’ll be the friendly expert our retail shoppers and contractor partners count on for precise color matching, smart product recommendations, and a smooth checkout experience. What a Day Looks Like You open the doors with a smile, greet regulars by name, and help a contractor match yesterday’s sample to today’s order. Between in‑store questions and quick calls, you’re tinting and mixing paints to spec, guiding DIYers to the right tools, and keeping aisles tidy and stocked. You’ll process orders that arrive by phone, online, email, and in person, and use the POS system to take payments and cash out customers. When needed, you safely move, load, and unload product for stocking, delivery, and order processing. You report to the Store Manager and may be trained to make local deliveries in a company vehicle. Compensation & Perks Starting pay: $18.00 per hour Full-time role with benefits Weekly pay Where and When You’ll Work This position is Full Time – Day shift scheduled within store hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm Sunday: Closed Additionally, be available for flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime. What You’ll Do Welcome and assess the needs of wholesale and retail customers, offering solutions that fit their projects. Mix, tint, and match paint to exact customer requests. Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing. Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked with paint and related products. Process orders and payments received in person, by phone, online, and via email. Operate the POS system to receive payments and cash out customers. Train to complete local deliveries using a company vehicle, as needed. Report to the Store Manager. What You Bring At least 18 years of age. A valid driver’s license in your current state of residence, no restrictions, and an acceptable driving record. Customer service mindset, teamwork focus, and a stable work history. Availability for flexible retail hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
