Job Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist at UCHealth Printers Park Med Plaza in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO. In this full-time position, you'll make a significant impact on the lives of patients by evaluating and addressing their therapy needs. Key Responsibilities: As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions and document your findings. Develop individualized plans of care that cater to each patient's unique challenges and preferences. Provide education and support to patients and their families about therapy processes, adaptive equipment, and support programs. Coordinate and assist with patient discharges from therapy services, ensuring a smooth transition. Supervise support personnel in compliance with licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards. Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (preferred: Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy). Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification, with BLS or CPR card valid at least sixty days after hire. Why UCHealth?
