Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I) 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification is not mandatory for these qualifications. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid by the start date and for at least sixty days after hire. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the guidance of nurses or healthcare providers. Gather vital signs, collect specimens, communicate patient condition changes, and assist with general patient care. Maintain a clean and organized care area, ensuring medical supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning.
