About the Role: Consult with patients, accurately document their medical history and current conditions to prepare for Optometrist exams. Maintain a smooth patient flow to enhance efficiency for both the Doctor and other office staff. Ensure patient comfort and understanding of procedures during their appointment. Learn to operate various pretest equipment and perform visual screenings as part of the preliminary assessment. Conduct contact lens training for eligible patients. Collaborate with the doctor and team to provide a seamless and exceptional patient experience. About You: High School Diploma/GED with basic math skills. Personable, patient, and able to comfort patients during the screening process. Detail-oriented and capable of working closely with the Optometrist. Eager to learn about the optical industry, products, and services. A collaborative team player focused on providing the best patient experiences. Prior healthcare, medical, or optical background is a plus but not required—we offer training for the right candidate.
