We’re seeking a Manager of Retail Operations to scale & evolve our retail strategy by turning store-level insights into smarter decisions across inventory, staffing & in-store experience. This is a collaborative, insights-driven role that goes beyond daily execution, offering hands-on ownership & cross-functional work across product, marketing, and customer experience to shape how Bandit shows up in every retail location. Requirements PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Retail Operations: Use store insights & performance data to identify operational inefficiencies & propose strategic improvements. Partner with store managers to refine staffing models, scheduling practices & in-store workflows based on traffic patterns. Develop & implement SOPs to ensure consistency & scalability of store ops. Training & Education: Lead development & refinement of training, onboarding tools & processes, using feedback & performance data. Partner with store managers to develop & refine processes, ensuring teams are equipped with the knowledge & tools to meet operational, service & brand standards. Store Openings : Lead planning & execution of store openings, including staffing, inventory & operational setup. Codify learnings from existing stores to improve rollout processes & playbook development. Provide onsite training & oversight to ensure each new store meets standards. Inventory: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, & regional trends to optimize sales, inventory allocation & restock cadence across stores. Partner with store managers on monthly counts, discrepancy resolution, & inventory accuracy. Develop & implement streamlined product receiving & restocking procedures across stores. Packaging & Supplies Management: Forecast & manage packaging & supply inventory across stores & warehouses. Identify opportunities to reduce costs across packaging & supply procurement. Partner with stores & warehouse teams to systematize ordering & replenishment workflows. Reporting & Analytics: Own reporting on store performance & customer experience, translating data & feedback into strategic insights that drive sales, optimize labor, improve inventory allocation, & continuous improvement. Merchandising: Coordinate with design & product to document & implement visual merchandising standards to ensure stores reflect the brand aesthetic. YOU HAVE 3-5 years of experience in operations, ideally a strong retail ops background with demonstrated analytical capabilities, or experience at a top consulting firm with interest in transitioning into an operations role High attention to detail with an unwavering customer-first attitude Ownership mentality & operate as a strategic thinker while rolling-up your sleeves A hunger for continuous process improvement that drives business impact Fortitude to make quick decisions through ambiguity & constant evolution A strategic, insights-driven approach focused on optimization & long-term impact beyond daily execution Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite tools (Excel, Sheets, PowerPoint) BONUS Start-up experience Experience managing retail, hospitality or customer experience teams Experience using Shopify or Warehouse Management Software (i.e. ShipHero) A connection to the sport of running BENEFITS This full-time, in-office position is based at our headquarters in Greenpoint, BK. There is the potential for up to 20% travel to manage pop-ups & new store openings.
