Position Details: Title: Travel Pharmacy Technician Infusion / Chemo Admixture Location: Albany, NY area (multiple nearby oncology pharmacies within ~20 miles) Setting: Cancer Center / Infusion Pharmacy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks + potential extension Schedule: Monday Friday, Day Shift (~8:00 AM 4:30 PM) License Requirement: NY license not required Certifications: PTCB highly preferred Transportation: Reliable transportation is a must (will float between nearby pharmacy sites) Key Responsibilities: Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications and sterile IV admixtures Maintain strict compliance with USP standards and infection control procedures Collaborate closely with pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure safe, timely preparation of medications Float between infusion pharmacy sites within the oncology network as needed Ideal Candidate: 1+ year of recent IV admixture and chemo compounding experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced oncology/infusion environment Detail-oriented, dependable, and a team player Must have own reliable transportation PTCB certified (strongly preferred) We are reviewing candidates and setting up interviews immediately.
