Staffmark is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to support daily operations in Upland, CA. This role involves administrative support, public interaction, and maintaining a wide range of records and documents.
Pay: $23.62/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Manage calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
Assist customers and resolve or route complaints
Maintain files, records, and time sheets
Process permits, payments, and requisitions
Prepare reports, documents, and meeting materials
Draft correspondence and legal notices
Update department forms and track registrations
Ensure compliance with safety and filing policies
Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of administrative or customer service experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Knowledge of admin procedures, records management, and business communication
Ability to prioritize, work independently, and maintain confidentiality
Valid California Driver's License (required)
Familiarity with city operations, public meetings, and permit processing a plus
Basic math and formal correspondence skills
Understanding of safety and file retention protocols
