Overview National Sales Director – Digital Retail role at S&P Global Mobility and Market Scan Partnership. We are looking for a seasoned Director of National Digital Retail Sales to develop, orchestrate and deliver go-to-market program strategies to increase the adoption of Market Scan products in the US automotive industry. This highly visible role will work with the executive teams of S&P Global Mobility and Market Scan to build Digital Retail partnerships, strengthen our value proposition, create broader market awareness, provide a critical voice into our robust product roadmap, and generate new business opportunities. Responsibilities Deliver revenue objectives associated with Market Scan sales and retention. Promote Market Scan and S&P Global Mobility adoption with Digital Retail accounts. Demonstrate product technology expertise and provide demos of Market Scan products for prospective clients. Oversee product and technical integration after the sale. Oversee process integration after the sale. Support dealer roll-out process by working closely with the Digital Retail companies. Support product pilot phase by working closely with partners on pilot scope, requirements, and launch. Daily management of terms and conditions of contracts. Exercise autonomy and accountability in role. Develop, track, and report business management statistics and KPIs. Understand and utilize a strategic selling process. Develop and maintain account plans for assigned accounts. Strategy and Capabilities Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with the Company’s objectives. Understand internal and external market dynamics affecting prospect/client accounts. Assess competitive landscape and provide feedback to Product Managers regarding customer needs and market dynamics. Stay current with product, industry, and competitive knowledge. Provide input on new product development (voice of the customer). Clearly articulate the S&P Global Mobility and Market Scan value proposition. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in sales, marketing, or business field with at least 10 years of B2B direct consultative selling, account management, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years of automotive digital retail or related experience. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including nationwide travel. Extensive and progressive experience in software sales or within automotive. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business; proficient in solutions selling. Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple relationships and operate in a matrixed organization with accountability for engagement and revenue goals. Ability to cultivate C-suite relationship engagement and management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship-building, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a less structured environment. Results-driven, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with execution focus. Proven ability to lead and influence through partnerships and to drive go-to-market initiatives. This role requires up to 50% travel nationally and may require occasional travel to our Detroit, MI office and client locations.
