Job Posting This position is located in the Food and Beverage Division in the Navy Region Southwest at Naval Air Station Lemoore. The primary purpose of this position is to operate a limited-service bar such as portable bars for private parties and banquets. Responsibilities include mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, receiving and recording payment at time of sale, maintaining inventory of stock, and ensuring the bar is in a presentable and sanitary condition. Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications: Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess the ability to visually recognize shortages of supplies at the bar such as beverages, beer, condiments, garnishes, glasses, napkins, and utensils, and to replace them as needed. Skill is needed to use knives and automatic slicers in the preparation of garnishes such as oranges, limes, and lemons. The incumbent has the ability to serve non-mix drinks under the close technical guidance of a bartender. Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Executive Order 12564 requires a Federal workplace free of illegal drugs.
