Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products. Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team through effective employee orientation and ongoing training programs. Conduct interviews and assist in recruiting top talent for the store. Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Implement effective sales strategies to achieve store sales goals while managing pricing and promotions. Maintain high standards of customer service by training staff on best practices in customer engagement. Utilize POS systems for transactions and manage cash handling procedures efficiently. Monitor retail math metrics to analyze sales performance and make informed business decisions. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and shift management practices. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively. Experience in employee orientation, training & development, and supervising teams. Proficiency in inventory management, retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and cash handling. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a retail context. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Previous experience as an assistant manager or in retail management is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills coupled with effective time management capabilities. Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail environments is beneficial.
