Long Island based coffee supplier, looking for a motivated individual who is:

1- An experienced coffee/espresso equipment technician.

2- A trainee for coffee/espresso equipment repair with mechanical skills and understanding of electrical and plumbing to work on coffee related machines and equipment.

Our task as a service provider is to inspect, repair, and calibrate coffee and espresso equipment including brewing, grinding and dispensing systems for customers in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Additionally, we support new equipment installation as well as periodic preventive maintenance on existing coffee and espresso equipment.

Technicians are expected to maintain customer relationships in assigned territories through on-time service and professional representation. Good written and oral communication skills is a must. Technicians will need to document their work efficiently and properly inform customers of the conducted service.

You will be performing field service and in-shop repair work. This includes troubleshooting on-site repair, installation and calibration of equipment, and occasional deliveries, all utilizing a company provided vehicle. We will train you on the specific equipment that will be encountered in the field and all necessary tools will be provided.

Hours:

· Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to completion (typically 4:30-5:30 PM)

· Occasional weekend and on-call service coverage required

Mechanical experience necessary with any of the following:

· Coffee equipment/appliances / plumbing / electrical / mechanical / HVAC / boilers or technical career school

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Have electrical/mechanical and trouble-shooting experience

· Highly motivated and self-starter

· Must be able to work under minimal supervision

· Must be able to handle multiple priorities

· Must be able to provide a high level of quality customer service

· Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds

· Strong written and communication skills are helpful

· Prior experience repairing and servicing coffee equipment including Bunn, Curtis, & Grindmaster is highly preferred but not necessary

· Good people skills

· Must have valid and clean driver’s license and own means of getting to work

· Knowledge of the Long Island area geographically is a plus

· Must be able to read/write/speak English & legally eligible to work

· Bilingual is beneficial
