Overview
Directly manage a large in-person team (40+ employees) and the overall operation of the location, including but not limited to opening, and closing, recruiting, training, performance management, inventory management, weekly and daily report outs on performance, team schedules, and program metrics Direct successful operations of the store, including execution and strategic deployment; drive results to meet client needs; meet program key performance indicators and analyze the tactics via solution development to ensure results are meeting and exceeding goals Boots on the ground as a strategic advisor to our client & BDS’s internal leadership team through frequent report outs sharing performance and targeted insights and trends within the store Strategic advisor that provides recommendations on new processes, and ways of operating based on in store observations and impact Determines the wants and needs of consumers while driving & closing the sale Increase sales of client’s products and CSAT scores through your team Enhance relationship with client; with the ability to grow and scale multiple retail locations; oversee communications and interfaces with each location, cultivate client relations and manage program and outcome expectations, anticipate client needs and respond with innovative and forward-thinking solutions, providing industry knowledge-based client recommendations that add value Provide top-level team leadership, development, coaching, and communication to store team members; manage Performance Excellence process Must live within 20 minutes or a reasonable drive to West Hollywood Other tasks as assigned by management What You'll Bring
Experience and Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required 5+ years’ experience in retail sales management, and building and growing team required 5+ years of customer-facing expertise in retail sales required Demonstrated strength in teaching/coaching techniques; positively influence and empowers others Skills and Attributes: Exemplary strong interpersonal communication, soft skills, written, verbal, and on camera Strong performance Management and conflict resolution skills with a goal to grow your team Applies a management style, toolkit, and tactics that inspire (rather than intimidates) others and motivate creatively oriented people to understand, enlist and champion fiscally responsible ways to achieve business objectives Ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels and independently Ability to show patience and tact and remain calm under pressure High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to practice good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking, and decision making Flexible availability with the ability to be on-call as needed Fluent in office suites including Office365, Google Workspace, etc Ability to travel at least 1x per month (will vary) Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
