JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions, and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed. Protect and gain merchandise shelf space for Bar-S products by stocking temporary bunkers and spaces for scheduled promotions; Optimize brand presence in designated areas. Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products. Maintain excellent working relationships with customers. Create weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly reports. Servicing stores in the Hemet, San Jacinto, Coachella e Indio, Y Calexico area. Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs) Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude Must demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Bilingual a plus Proven ability to motivate self and others MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent, License/Certifications Able to pass a background/drug test A personal vehicle that meets company standards for licensing and insurance Food handlers permit A drivers License that meets company requirements MVR, which meets Sigma driving standards with review by Talent & Culture Minimum 1 year of Merchandise experience Food product and or consumer packaged goods sales experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS Able to stand for a full shift of 8 - 10 hours. Can regularly lift and move 30-pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or a cart/hand-truck. Can repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push, or pull to move 30 pounds. Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34 F for prolonged periods. Availability to work weekends and evenings (until approximately 8:00 pm). Able to travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
