Lutheran Social Services is looking for part-time, benefit-eligible therapists to work with children, adults, and families in our Family Preservation Program. This role offers 32 hours per week and includes valuable benefits. In this rewarding position, you will connect with clients where they are— at home, in school, and within the community. You will provide essential mental health and substance use treatment that empowers clients to overcome their unique challenges. Plus, all time spent traveling and documenting client interactions is compensated. As a Therapist in Training, you will: Deliver in-home family therapy services to clients and their families. Conduct thorough assessments using clinical interviews and diagnostic tools. Collaborate with clients and providers to develop effective treatment plans. Implement strength-based, evidence-based therapeutic services. Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner. Participate in client recovery team meetings to foster communication and collaboration. Engage in clinical supervision for ongoing professional development. Qualifications: Earned Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related program is essential. Required practicum experience related to our services. Eligibility for training license per WI Department of Safety and Professional Services guidelines. Experience in providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families. Licenses and Certifications: Must possess or be eligible for a training license as an Advanced Practice Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory; a satisfactory driving history check will be conducted. Technology Skills: Basic computer skills required, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Travel Requirements: Daily travel may be required to serve clients throughout Polk, Washburn, and Burnette counties.
