This hybrid role combines traditional front office administrative responsibilities with light clinical support. The Front Office Coordinator will be the face of our clinic, and excellent customer service is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting and be comfortable taking basic vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, and temperature.

Compensation:

$21.50 - $24.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

Front Office Duties:

  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple providers
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages
  • Verify insurance and collect co-pays or payments
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation in EHR system
  • Handle general administrative tasks (faxing, scanning, filing, mail, etc.)

Medical Assistant Duties:

  • Take and record basic vital signs
  • Assist with patient intake and updating medical histories
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in common clinical areas
  • Prepare rooms for patients and providers as needed
  • Monitor supply levels and restock as appropriate


Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a medical or behavioral health office, or administrative experience with scheduling and intake in a busy environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with EHR systems and willingness to learn and use a variety of programs and apps to complete daily duties
  • Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor and compassionate approach with patients
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred but not required
