QualDerm Partners is actively seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for their examinations by taking vital signs and recording their medical history.
  • Assist the physician during exams and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Maintain patient records meticulously, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage the scheduling of patient appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
  • Educate patients regarding their treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
  • Keep the examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Experience in a clinical environment as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dermatology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software applications.
