We are seeking a Medical Assistant who will be responsible for supporting our healthcare providers by performing various clinical and administrative tasks. Doctor office experience is preferred. Open to newer graduates who have an upbeat positive customer service-oriented approach to patient care.
Job Description
· Patient intake consisting of vital signs and verification of medications and allergies
· Stocking and cleaning exam rooms/IV room
· Sending imaging requests to facilities and follow-up on pending requests
· Entering lab orders and following up on pending requests
· Completing weekly medication counts and bi-weekly medical supply counts
· Chart prepping including verifying patient information, lab and imaging results and any needed authorization.
· Prepare medications (NJ only) including drawing testosterone patients/Trigger Points
· Vaccinations (NJ only)
· Additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications/Education:
1-2 years' of experience
RMA/CMA certification
Graduation from an accredited program
CPR and First Aid certification
Skills
Ability to work under pressure
Experience with Electronic Medical Records, ECW preferred
Team player
Perform tasks accurately
