Responsibilities
Responsible for the transportation of employees, volunteers and students. Documentation logs of all pickups are maintained in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures. Is self-directed in making decisions focused on positive outcomes and Excels core values
Responsible for transporting documents, supplies, mail, equipment, and other materials to designated locations either upon request or according to established schedules and routes. Maintains activity log, including appropriate authorization signatures, for the purpose of documenting materials received and delivered.
Performs pick-ups and deliveries throughout the Metropolitan area insuring the operation of transportation vehicles is handled safely at all times with strict adherence to all applicable state laws and institutional policies.
Performs minor maintenance of transportation and delivery vehicles (e.g. checking/filling fluid levels, fueling cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicles.
Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperative working relationships with other departments, staff, members of the Medical Staff, patients and visitors
Maintains physician time share suite supply inventory and equipment. Inventory is monitored and supplies are delivered and restocked on a timely basis
Responsible for safely operating equipment used in warehouse operations; snow removal equipment when necessary.
Performs all other support functions in an organized and timely fashion
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: High School Graduate
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: One (1) Year. A potential career path for Van Driver.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Requires minor mechanic skills. Requires moderate to heavy physical effort. Good driving record with valid drivers license and knowledge of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Ky. Area. Good customer relation skills.
