Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently transporting raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility, ensuring the smooth operation of production lines by supplying needed materials. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing storage, operating equipment, and complying with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, parts, and finished products to designated areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas.
- Supply production lines with materials to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
Essential Skills
- Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.
- Experience using an RF scanner to track materials.
- Ability to document and track inventory.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb portable ladders. Use of personal protection equipment is required, and the role demands good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. The facility is located in Mesa, Arizona, and includes electric charging stations for convenience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
