Warehouse Production Specialist
Ensures orderly production by delivering production materials and supplies where needed and staging finished products. Expedites movement of materials to all buildings. Works closely with purchasing, receiving, and production areas regarding urgent needs.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
- Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items.
- Keeps the inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.
- Provides assistance to other manufacturing areas (i.e. maintenance, assembly, crating, flow lab, blasting/coating) where qualified and as needed.
Other Responsibilities and Functions:
- Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work area.
- Maintains a dedication to collaboration and a positive, encouraging demeanor towards all personnel.
- Supports VES activities such as standard work 5s execution and uses VES tools provided by Veralto.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in receiving or warehouse preferred
- Preferred Education: High School or equivalent
Skills and Competencies:
- Specific: Basic knowledge of product receiving and warehousing.
- Administrative: Basic computer skills and email. Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, bills of lading, product labels, and hazard warnings.
- Other: Ability to drive or be trained to drive a forklift
- Teamwork: Establishes and maintains productive working relationships.
- Skills level is determined by Skills Matrix and Leveling Guide.

Work Environment:
- The work environment consists of an indoor or office work environment with good ventilation, and adequate lighting.
The compensation range for this role is $21.00 - $24.00 USD per hour.
