Printpack Rigid is seeking a candidate to fill a material handler position in our Newport News, VA Facility on 2nd shift. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and his/her key responsibility is to perform shipping and receiving duties safely and efficiently, in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

Hours: 3pm to 11pm Days: Monday through Friday $2.50 an hour shift differential during the hours of 7pm to 11pm Key Responsibilities: Work in a team environment General understanding of rack numbering systems, tags, raw materials, and WIP Efficient operation of stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials Performance of routine safety inspections of lift equipment Loading and unloading trucks Moving material and general support of warehouse, shipping/receiving, and material handling functions Responsible for maintaining the area or areas that they work in and around Material Handler must be willing to work with others to fulfill the key measures of the facility Must possess skills and knowledge to complete forms and paperwork that will properly account for material being moved andsupplied to each machine QUALIFICATIONS Required: High School Diploma/GEDor minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.

Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to wear all required PPE (hearing protection, safety glasses, hairnet, uniforms, and steel-toed shoes)

Ability to work overtime as needed

Time management sills to prioritize and balance workload

Good listening and reading skills with high retention

Preferred: Previous experience operating a forklift

Previous warehouse experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory duties. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift50 lbs.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to perform the following: bending, lifting, repetitive motions, walking, and squatting.
