JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description Onin Staffing is hiring a Material Handler in the Durham, NC area. The Material Handler will be responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, staging, replenishing, and stacking products. This role includes inspecting and counting inventory, reporting damages or discrepancies, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facility. Pay rate: $19.00/hr. 2nd shift: 6pm to 6am. What You'll Do as a General Material Handler: Picking and Staging: Use a pallet jack to pick orders accurately and stage them as required. Stack, package, band, shrink-wrap, and label products per client specifications. Quality Control: Verify products and orders meet quality standards and report any damages or discrepancies. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean, neat, and secure work environment. Follow all safety protocols and corporate policies. Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks and other equipment. Ensure equipment is in good condition and report any issues. Housekeeping and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the facility’s cleanliness and perform minor repairs or maintenance as directed.

Work Experience Required Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic math skills to verify quantities and count inventory. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling 21-50 lbs consistently. 6+ months of experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment. Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE).

Physical Demands: Frequent bending, walking, and standing. Occasional sitting and handling/fingering. Ability to reach above the shoulder, outward, squat, or kneel as required.
