Daily Tasks and Responsibilities (not all inclusive): Ensures that Manufacturing is performing to standard by reading specification Drawings and using visual standards and a variety of measurement tools; performing 1 st piece, in-process, SPC and final audit inspections at various steps in the manufacturing process; identifying nonconforming materials and placing them on "hold" for Material Review Board. Performs visual inspection of all work cells and reports findings to supervisor. Continuous improvements are always encouraged. Notifying supervisors of manufacturing processes that do not meet requirements or that vary from approved processes; working with manufacturing to make scrap/rework decisions. Ensures quality standards are met to reduce rejects, rework and returns. Communicates issues with supervisor.
