We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Direct Reports: 4-8 Software and SRE Engineers Leading a team of experienced engineers focused on building a fast, reliable, and scalable infrastructure delivery pipeline. Championing and enforcing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices and coding standards. Leading the technical direction of the team through architectural discussions Driving the execution of your team by leading planning, prioritization, stand-ups, and team retro meetings. Lead large scale projects that impact multiple engineering teams. Working with product managers, senior engineers, and client teams to get ‘ahead of the curve' and explore new opportunities. Join forces with recruiting to hire a top-notch engineering team. Managing engineers and their careers with 1:1s and performance reviews. What You Bring 8+ years of applicable experience and 3+ as a manager A track record of planning and delivering on multiple overlapping projects spanning several months Experience implementing an engineering process that emphasized security, availability, scalability, and operational discipline Strong experience with Terraform, Terragrunt and CI/CD Experience managing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar. Experience with Crossplane or Pulumi would be a plus Experience using managed languages such as Go and Python or similar Experience operating in Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 142,500 in the lowest geographic market and USD 228,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
