As a Manager of Project Management at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects and programs for the company. General Responsibilities Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and key partners
Design, develop and manage project plans in a dynamic environment, making revisions as needed to keep pace with changing requirements and inputs
Ensure projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and ensure timely delivery
Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Own reporting forums and escalations structure including inputs to MBRs, risk forums, portfolio reviews, and newsletters
Facilitate planning and prioritization processes
Support the team in developing and maintaining documentation, tools, and templates that facilitate efficient product delivery
Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure program and project plans deliver on intent
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or military experience
At least 5 years of Project Management, Product Management or Program Management experience
Preferred Qualifications: PMP or Agile certification
Masters / MBA degree
7+ years of Project Management experience
Experience delivering consumer facing digital experiences
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management
New York, NY: $159,400 - $181,900 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
