Lingo Staffing is now hiring a Maintenance Technician! 2 weeks on 1st shift and 1 week on 2nd shift. $30-$33 per hour! Shifts:  1st: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm Friday, 5a-completion (usually between 10a-3p) 2nd: Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am *Must be available for weekends and overtime as required* Type: Contract to Perm Pay:  $30/hour + $3 shift differential for 2nd shift hours worked Location: Roanoke, VA 24019 Industry:  Steel Manufacturing Join Lingo Staffing and take the next step into your Industrial Maintenance career! We are seeking a talented and motivated Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA! Key Responsibilities:   Good knowledge of heavy machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. PLC knowledge is a plus. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts. Preventative maintenance on plant equipment. Must be able to read and understand blueprints. Basic computer programming skills. Safe work ethics. Autonomous, resourceful, organized, and thorough. Experience in a similar position. Requirements: MUST have experience working with CNC Machines and/or Warehouse equipment Be willing and able to learn how to perform PM on Plasma Tables, Drill Lines, and Robotic Welders Ability to lift 50-100lbs repeatedly with confidence Basic math proficiency and computer skills are a must Skilled in using hand tools and working effectively in a fast-paced production environment Comfortable walking or standing for the entire shift Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
