Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Maintenance Technician
Overview: A leading manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance of their facility's mechanical systems. This hands-on role is critical to supporting production and requires a safety-conscious professional with a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, mixers, process vessels, and piping systems. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, oil changes, and filter replacements. Monitor and maintain critical facility systems (boilers, air compressors, cooling water, wastewater). Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve equipment failures. Perform minor building repairs, including carpentry, painting, and drywall/concrete work. Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, scissor lifts) and safely rig heavy equipment for movement. Assist in training junior maintenance personnel and support inventory management.
Requirements: Education High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical certificate or degree from a 2-year program is strongly preferred. Experiences 2-3 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial facility. Proven experience with pipefitting and various pipe jointing methods. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365. Other Journeyman license is a significant plus. In-depth knowledge of safety protocols including LOTO, confined space, hot work, and PPE. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Must be able to maintain detailed repair records and keep a clean, organized work area.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) is offered.
Schedule: Full-time Work arrangement: On-site Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
