Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technician Lead in Newport Beach, CA.

As a Maintenance Technician Lead you will:

Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, motor controls, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and pumps. HVAC is a plus. Generate and maintain accurate reports on maintenance activities, including work orders, downtime, and expenditures. Inspect and listen to machines to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate repairs. Disassemble machinery to access and repair problem areas. Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine and equipment repair. Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs and maintenance. Assign tasks and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in technical skills and work ethics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Operate forklift and other mobile equipment as required for maintenance tasks and material handling. Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery and systems. Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure optimal functionality of equipment and prevent breakdowns. This is a full-time opportunity. Monday thru Friday 6:00Am to 2:30PM

The ideal candidate will have:

Must have at least 5 years with Maintenance Lead background supporting maintenance manager. Proven experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and pumps. Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and problem-solving. Ability to operate forklift and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently. Positive, can-do attitude with excellent attendance and punctuality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Pay Rate : $35.00 to $43.00 per hour
