Maintenance Technician

This position is responsible for maintaining the building and grounds and monitoring all shop machines and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure it is operating properly
  • Responsible for maintaining production and support equipment (systems: electrical, control and mechanical)
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to maintain the operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment of complex parts
  • Manage the preventative maintenance schedule and complete work orders as scheduled
  • Implement and coordinate preventative maintenance
  • Refurbish, modify and install production support equipment as necessary
  • Keep work area and machinery clean and free of clutter
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
  • Ability to become certified in Lockout Tagout
  • Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling
  • Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
  • Basic computer skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

5+ years maintenance experience, 3-phase power and distribution is preferred

Systems:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Maintenance experience: CNC repair, facilities, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing
  • Proven experience with automation controls
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret blue prints and technical procedures
  • Ability to use measuring equipment
  • Ability to safely operate an overhead JIB cranes
  • Ability to be on-call 24/7 and work all assigned hours
  • Independent self-starter requiring little to no supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail in fast-paced work environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
  • Lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Push/pull 100 lbs.
  • Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
  • Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
