Bakerly, renowned for blending French baking artistry with the American palette, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee its maintenance operations ensuring that all bakery equipment and facilities are running efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in engineering and maintenance within the food production sector, leveraging this experience to promote safety, sustainability, and operational continuity. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team. Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to established health and safety standards. Plan and oversee routine and emergency maintenance on all equipment and facilities. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs. Collaborate with other department leaders to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime. Manage maintenance budgets and forecast necessary expenses for equipment upgrades and repairs. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess system performance and need for repairs or replacements. Train new staff and assist in the continuous development of existing staff skills. Proven ability in industrial maintenance management, preferably in a food production environment. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations. Competency with maintenance management software.
