Responsibilities

  • Learn to safely and efficiently operate various converting equipment.
  • Apply established quality control procedures effectively.
  • Execute position responsibilities pertaining to assigned work centers.
  • Read and follow order specification documents.
  • Develop or enhance skill set consistently.
  • Work effectively with co-workers, fostering a team approach to achieve company goals.
  • Adhere to all company rules and policies.
  • Perform successfully in multiple areas of the converting plant, meeting performance expectations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills within a standard timeline.
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform mentally and physically at a high pace with a sense of urgency.
  • Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work overtime.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or a physical job with good tenure.
  • Ambitious, with long-term goals and a curiosity to learn and move up.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to ask questions.

Work Environment

Our facility is large and experiences temperature variations, getting hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We operate various machines, including a 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, and multiple Rotary Die Cutters, among others. Our work environment is fast-paced, requiring physical and mental agility. The dress code is casual, suitable for a manufacturing setting. Employees work a day shift from Monday to Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
