Seeking: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist full time within the local county jail in Everett, WA
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned nurse looking to add to their career and utilize all of their acquired skills in a population that needs support!
Position Details:
Part-time Available Hiring Immediately Paid Orientations & Facility Trainings
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the detention unit Must be able to work in a correctional facility environment and treat inmates with respect Effectively document wellness checks and all forms of patient care Accurate and efficient triage & clinical skills Accurate assessment skills
Licensure/Education:
3 years (minimum) required as a credentialedLicensed Practical Nurse Urgent care, emergency, and corrections experience will be highly valued
Current unencumbered WA LPN License
Employment Qualifications:
Current BLS Certification Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen prior to employment Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
