Low Voltage Foreman

The ComTran Group is a full-service provider of infrastructure construction services to the energy and communication industry with committed values to safety, quality, and customer service. We are looking for a Low Voltage Foreman. In this role you will be working within a team. The work environment is dynamic and can change daily.

Oversee various low voltage/fiber projects with multiple crews while dealing with customers and ordering materials. Ensure the crews have what they need, customer deadlines and quality expectations are met.

Must be a good and effective leader and communicator.

Dress data closets (very neatly) with large amounts of cables.

Skills:

Fiber splicing background is a plus.

Ability to manage several work orders and be a team leader.

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications test results.

Good positive attitude.

Must have the ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables (to include twisted pair cable, coax and fiber cables (inside and outdoor environments).

Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms (ladder rack /conduit etc..)

Test / troubleshoot and document test results for cabling (Fluke & OTDR)

Requirements:

3 years of industry experience

Intimate knowledge on how to terminate Unicam fiber connectors.

Reliable transportation

Clean MVR and Drug Test

Security background check
