Logistics Automation Inbound, Ops MGR II

Manages professional employees and/or supervisors. Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own job family. Adapts business unit, department, site or sub-function plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business unit, department or sub-function plan; receives guidance from manager. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.

Key responsibilities include overseeing Austin Automation Primary Inbound GR and Putaway activities on a selected block, ensuring inbound goods are accurately received and promptly put away in accordance with inventory procedures. Ensures logistics capability is in place to fulfill customer requirements in compliance with documented work instructions. Perform reconciliations, validations and audits of warehouse inventory operations. Work closely with management to implement corrective actions. Manages commitment methodologies and processes across product groups. Generates necessary documentation, including activity/status reports, operation review input, and excess/obsolete analysis. Administers company policies, including yearly performance review, that directly affect subordinate employees. Leads change management efforts across internal team focused on process compliance that may also include the application of system skills to complete user acceptance testing on potential enhancements.

Functional knowledge includes demonstrating in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles in own job family and basic knowledge of other related job families. Demonstrates expert level knowledge in WMS's and its application to the business process being managed.

Business expertise applies understanding of the industry and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives.

Leadership manages a generally homogeneous team; adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges.

Problem solving identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems.

Impact impacts the level of service and the team's ability to meet quality, volume, and timeliness objectives. Guided by policies and resource requirements within business unit, department or sub-function.

Additional information includes full time, assignee/regular employee type, and yes, 10% of the time travel. Relocation is not eligible.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
