Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 – $7,280
• Location: Ontario, OR 97914 — Ontario, Oregon (Eastern Oregon, Malheur County). Ideal for candidates seeking Oregon OBGYN jobs or locum tenens roles in a community hospital.
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract)
• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
• Shift / Call: 12 Hour Rotating; 24-hour pager call; must be able to cover at least 14 consecutive shifts per month

• EMR: EPIC (experience with EPIC EMR preferred)

OB/GYN Job Requirements

• Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) — Required
• Active Oregon medical license, participation in IMLC, or licensing candidates accepted — Required
• DEA certificate and CSR — Required
• BLS certification (AHA) — Required
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination — Required
• Clean malpractice and background history — Required
• Self-query NPDB report within 30 days — Required
• Ability to cover at least 14 consecutive shifts per month — Required
• Minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN physician clinical experience

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope OB/GYN care across clinic and hospital settings, including maternity care and women's health services
• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients; support safe labor and delivery practices
• Perform deliveries and gynecologic procedures (vaginal and Cesarean deliveries when credentialed)
• Respond to call-backs and urgent patient needs as required
• Document care thoroughly using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, pediatrics, anesthesia) to ensure high-quality maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, state regulations, and quality/safety standards
