Locums OBGYN Physician, California - Coastal Hospital with CNM Support

Block schedule OBGYN coverage available in San Luis Obispo, California - CNM model with 1:4 call rotation and hospital housing options.

Highlights

• 1:4 call; backup to in-house CNMs
• 7-day blocks required; consistent monthly coverage

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient
• 35-50 deliveries/month
• CNMs handle most primary call
• 3 OBs and full nursing support on site

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8a-5p clinic with overnight call
• 7 consecutive days/month minimum to present
• Ongoing monthly block schedule available

Cases and Procedures

• VBACs and high-risk OB cases
• ED call includes 1-3 primary shifts/month
• Backup for unassigned clinic and OB patients

Requirements

• Board Certified in OBGYN
• Active California license
• ACLS, BLS, DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, rental car, mileage, and lodging included
