*Duties* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for dishes. * Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. * Monitor food inventory levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed. * Participate in catering events as required, ensuring all meals meet dietary specifications. * Support the culinary team in maintaining a positive work environment.
*Requirements* * Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices. * Strong skills in meal preparation and food preparation techniques. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. * A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
