This position requires a strong understanding of food safety standards and fine dining practices, along with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
*Duties*
* Assist in the development and execution of innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. * Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all team members are trained in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. * Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and plating for fine dining service. * Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene throughout the kitchen. * Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cooks and kitchen staff to foster professional growth.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or fine dining establishment. * Strong knowledge of menu planning, food safety practices, and culinary techniques. * Excellent team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively. * Familiarity with inventory management processes and food service management principles. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team. * A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting. * Culinary Degree Preferred
