Scott's Pointe is a premier destination located in Calverton, NY.

Our venue is home to the Lakeview Terrace Bar & Grill, we provide food and beverage service to our restaurant, 2 bars, and lakeside VIP Cabanas. We are able to cater large events such as:

corporate banquets, weddings, holiday parties, and other special occasions.  About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at the Lakeview Terrace Bar & Grill.

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare high-quality dishes in line with our menu. You will ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of your workstation and adhere to all health and safety regulations.  Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.

Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion. Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation. About You:

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Familiarity with industry best practices. Able to work various shifts that may include weekends. Physical Demands:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 30 pounds.  What We Offer:
