Line Cook Emish Market , located in Fife, WA, is a Ukrainian grocery store offering a wide variety of imported goods from Ukraine and other European countries. Alongside our store, we operate a full-service café, bakery, and meat department, serving freshly made Ukrainian dishes, sweet pastries, and specialty meats. Our mission is to provide a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest. We're currently looking for a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting, works well under pressure, and ideally has knowledge of Ukrainian or Eastern European cuisine. What You'll Do: Prepare and cook hot dishes according to recipes and portion standards Assist in menu preparation and suggest daily specials Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and stored following safety and sanitation standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and assist with ordering supplies Support bakery and deli staff as needed Work Schedule: 3:30pm - 12:30am from Friday to Tuesday including Saturdays and Sundays Pay Range: $18-$22/hour depending on experience + tips. Our cooks are making up to $26/h. Benefits: 5 paid holidays 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked Extra $2/hour for Sunday shifts Qualification Requirements: 2+ years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen Knowledge of Ukrainian or Eastern European cuisine is preferred Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and teamwork Reliability and punctuality
