Job Summary:


The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with the restaurant's menu and recipes, ensuring that food is prepared promptly, and that quality and presentation standards are met.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food items according to the restaurant's recipes.
  • Ensure that food is cooked to the right temperature and in a timely manner.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area including daily cleaning and deep cleaning duties.
  • Follow the required food safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Contribute to developing new menu items and specials.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure that guest orders are fulfilled promptly.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in an Italian restaurant.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or certificate is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods standing and preparing food.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
