Job Summary

Mirbeau Inn & Spa is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to join our team! The successful candidate will be passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests, with experience working the line in high-volume restaurants.

Pay Rate: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Effectively set up production line for The Bistro & Wine bar, ensuring that all menu items are adequately stocked Check daily menu items, ensuring daily specials as per recipe standards are ready Maintain effective communication with the Chef de Cuisine & Sous Chef's for any changes to menu items Coordinate with pantry prep cook, ensuring all garnishes, salads, and other condiments are prepared for every meal period Ensure everything on the line is ready for every meal period Prepare all menu items in accordance with Mirbeau recipes and specifications for all outlets in a timely manner Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation, both personally and in the work area Properly handle and store food to prevent spoilage and waste Break down prep line after each meal period Perform any other tasks as directed by the Chef de Cuisine Recommend ideas and solutions to perceived issues to improve the productivity of the kitchen Report to work properly groomed and in a clean uniform with nametag at scheduled time Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements High School Diploma or higher Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen Excellent communication and time-management skills Culinary school education a plus Employee Perks & Company Benefits 401K with Company Match Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Plans Career advancement potential within company Paid time off for full-time and part-time employees Holiday Pay Employee Assistance and Anniversary bonus programs Discounted rates for services within Spa Discount on retail items in Boutique Employee rate on rooms at all locations Use of onsite fitness center, classes and Mirbeau Balanced Virtual Wellness app Work performance incentives and more!
