Tin Roost Restaurant and Patio in North Liberty, IA is looking for an experienced full-time Line Cook Lead to join our team!
As a Line Cook Lead, you’ll help oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently, and meets our quality standards. You'll be responsible for line prep and managing the line during service.

Located in the heart of North Liberty, IA Tin Roost is a locally owned, independent restaurant with 2 private party rooms, 400 seats, a scratch kitchen serving up home-grown American fare, and one crazy big outdoor patio. We proudly feature 36 beers on tap and offer over 80 whiskeys in the bar.

Pay: Starting at $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: Full-time, 30+ hours per week. Weekend availability is a must.

Kitchen Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
- Provide feedback to staff for improvement.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation per Tin Roost’s standards.
- Monitor food prep and cooking processes to ensure consistency.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with local health regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment, ensuring all items are in proper working order.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of orders.
- Address customer concerns or complaints regarding food quality or kitchen operations.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 18+ years of age or older
- 1+ years of kitchen experience
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfort working with heat, steam, and kitchen equipment.
