In the new heart of Woodinville the beauty of the Pacific Northwest meets its newest destination, The SOMM Hotel and Spa. The SOMM is set to open in summer 2025, becoming the centerpiece of a 20-acre master-planned development in Woodinville, Washington.

The SOMM Hotel and Spa is a 164-room luxury hotel that will offer a blend of upscale accommodations and amenities. The project is part of Harvest, a town square-style development that will house nearly 100,000 square feet of restaurants, bars, wine-tasting rooms, and recreation. It also includes hundreds of apartments and townhouses, making it a comprehensive destination in its own right.

The hotel itself is designed to be a haven of comfort and indulgence. It features a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, 10,000 sq ft of meeting spaces, and a 5,661-square-foot spa. Additionally, there will be 9,000 square feet of retail space that will complement the hotel's offerings. This retail section is expected to include wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, and other facilities.

What you'll do:

The Brass Tacks Leads stations with consistency and autonomy across multiple service periods Demonstrates leadership on the line and upholds standards for junior staff Communicates effectively with front of house teams, and maintains a composed, solution-oriented presence in high-pressure environments Responsible for managing prep timelines, par levels, and station cleanliness Upholds and enforces health code compliance and kitchen safety standards The Nitty Gritty 7+ years professional kitchen experience in high-volume or fine dining settings Previous experience working prep & execution of banquets and private events up to 200+ guests Skilled in cooking proteins to spec, sauce work, plating, and finishing Strong working knowledge of global cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and advanced techniques Proficient with specialized equipment: immersion circulators, planchas, combi ovens, etc. Possesses advanced butchery, fabrication, and preservation techniques Necessary State Food Handler's License(s) Ability to read and comprehend instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
