SUMMARY: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, providing essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position involves monitoring patients' health, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities to ensure the comfort and well-being of those in their care. LPNs are responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and communicating any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team. The ultimate goal of this role is to enhance patient outcomes through compassionate care and effective support. By fostering a positive and healing environment, LPNs contribute significantly to the overall quality of healthcare services provided. We are looking for a reliable and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide on-site care for inpatient residents in recovery for alcohol and substance abuse. LPN professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care. This is a Full-Time, Permanent evening shift (4:00 PM to 12:00 AM) opportunity. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license. Preferred Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a substance rehab facility. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care plans and patient progress. WORK LIFE BALANCE: Here at Clean & Clear, our goal is to provide a professional working environment that promotes a high level of work-life balance. As an LPN you will typically work Monday through Friday, 4 PM to 12 AM. We currently observe 6 National holidays as paid days off for our full-time staff (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.) Full-time staff receive 56 hours of paid time off after 90 days of continuous employment and begin accruing vacation time (up to 40 hours 1st year and up to 80 hours each year after.)
