Legal Assistant

Kelley Kronenberg is hiring a Legal Assistant to join our brand new Healthcare Law team in Fort Lauderdale! This role will directly support a Partner in a growing division at the firm. Essential Functions:

• Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, and other legal documents.
• Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions.
• E-filing with state and federal courts.
• Managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments
• Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence.
• Performing legal research.
• Client intake.
• Other administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience and/or training in healthcare law; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MS Office Suite Knowledge a must
