Responsibilities
: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, contracts, and legal correspondence. Maintain and organize case files. Track case progress and deadlines, ensuring timely filing of documents. Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and appointments. Maintain electronic filing system using Clio. Ensure all documents are filed correctly. Schedule mediations, meetings, and telephone conferences, and perform general office duties such as answering phones, and managing email correspondence. Requirements: Previous professional/internship experience as a legal assistant or similar role is required. Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document formatting. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Interested candidates can email a Word version of their resume for consideration.
